Net Zero All-Party Parliamentary Group

The Net Zero APPG works to accelerate policy change, promote zero carbon solutions, support clean growth technology and ultimately embed the UK’s commitment to deliver a net zero carbon economy. It provides a unique and dynamic forum for MPs and Peers of all parties to work collectively and make the case for urgent Government action to secure a low carbon future for the UK.

On Tuesday 10th November the Decarbonisation Report, ‘Putting Net Zero at the heart of future UK Policy’ and the 10 Point Net Zero Action Plan was launched, which brings together the key findings from our Decarbonisation Series, backed by MPs and Peers from across the political spectrum, warns that the UK is not on track to meet its net zero emissions by 2050, and that the UK risks falling behind other countries, unless Government takes urgent action to decarbonise power, transport, housing and land now.
